With the exception of the aquarium in paris this was a pile of rubbish, the place was small, overpriced and just rubbish. I will never return to this place and I highly recommend that non of you do either. If you want a really good aquairum visit the one in Boulogne France its truly amazing and well worth a visit.... more

I went the acquarium because I love all acquariums, and couldn't bare the thought of having one in the vicinity and not paying it a visit. I had read all the reviews on this site and others, and therefore went with very low expectations. Yes, the entrace fee is high, even by UK standards (I'm American by birth), but there... more

Just don't bother going... this is one of the worst 'environmental' attractions that I have ever seen. The attempt to demonstrate some commitment to the environment by pushing The Shark Trust is about as good as it gets. The enviornment is stale, creatures especially the turtle are in need of stimulation, the lighting is so bad that if you want... more

Nothing special here--expensive outing for a family. If you love aquariums, you will be disappointed with this one. There are much better aquariums in other places. If you have never been to an aquarium, this may be ok. more

Some friends took us to the London Aquarium in May when it had first opened. Very very disappointing. Considering all the other Aquariums throughout the world this was extremely poor for the money. I was embarrassed by the fact that our friends paid money for this attraction. London deserves better than this. Some teething problems as it was the first... more

When we mentioned to relatives that we were planning on going to the aquarium, they told us not to bother. Apparently, it used to be really expensive for what you got and things were pretty dingy. We were really surprised by the place when we got there. Is it still expensive? I would say yes at 16 Quid per adult.... more

This was a bit of a disappointment and poor value for money. £30 for 2 adults (children under 3 free) and we were in and out in less than an hour and a half. We visited London Zoo recently and for only a little bit more money, you get a whole day out with the kids with plenty to do... more

Really good and well laid out. Its often hard to find a London attaction to suit an adult with an intellectual disability. This was colourful and holds the interest. The open pool is amazing. more

I considered that maybe it's just my bias towards all things fishy that I couldn't understand the string of harsh criticisms about this aquarium, but that didn't really add up because a lot of the reviews for London attractions baffled me. Example, the London Eye which has a healthy four star rating. My experience of it was; long queue, expensive... more

myself, my sister and my daughter visited this weekend after having waited until the refurbishments were finished. While the fish were beautiful everything else was not. It is promoted as being family friendly yet on the day we went (at 11 in the morning) it was so busy you could not even get near some of the tanks especially with... more
