The staff who work for this company must be the rude staff ever. I have been on a similar bus tour in Ireland and the staff were funny amusing and would do anything to help. On the Big Bus Tour in London the staff were shouted at numerous customers as they were not doing what they were told. Also the... more

Bought tickets for this company at Madame Tussauds near our friend's house. We were told that the buses would run until past 6:00 and return us to Tussauds. When we tried to board at about 4:30 at the Tower of London we were told the bus would only go to the Marble Arch and we'd have to reboard some other... more

A dreadful experience. It took the bus two full hours on a Sunday morning - when there is less traffic - to go from Gloucester Road to Madame Trussauds. The bus stopped all the time and it took ages for the driver and his collaborators to process new requests for tickets. Passangers were squeezed in the lower deck as if... more

The guide was absolutely disgraceful. Rude, insulting and ignorant. Paid £25 stayed on for 15 minutes and left. Boarded at Green Park on a Friday afternoon more

It happened like six months ago, but my recent trip to London with kids (again) reminded me to write a review about this company. The thing was that it was rather bed weather, I was with two kids, and our ride was interrupted by protest near Parliament. The very kind bus guide instructed all the remaining passengers aboard to write... more

We took the Big Bus Tour Hop on and off tour in London to get oriented to the city and to learn more about the monuments while at it. Our main goal was to ensure we had a live guided tour (not a recorded one) and to take the 9 am bus so that we could make it to Buckingham... more

Took a party on the Big Bus 'Blue Tour' on 6 October. The competitor "Original London Sightseeing Tour" appeared to have perhaps twice as many buses operating, so we waited around much longer than their passengers did. But all went well until around 4:15pm when we 'hopped on' at Gloucester Road. The driver said that he was only going as... more

I've done the hop on/off bus tours in other cities so I had a benchmark. It wasn't just my experience but also the experience of others on the same tour. Poorly organized, signage lacking, headsets that simply didn't work, time between buses is not as advertised. Toward the end of the day, about 10 of us were told to disembark... more

We were in London for a day and a half and was well worth the money spent. We also went on the night ghost tour and our guide Andy was the BEST!! Very entertaining. Apparently his specialty is the Royal tour, but he was great on the ghost tour. The only thing we had difficulty with was with the headset,... more

Just not worth it. Took forever to go anywhere b/c of all the traffic. You are better off getting a day pass for the subway (about 5 pounds sterling) - you can get to all the attractions much much faster. However there were many buses so you didnt have to wait long for another one. more
