It is just right up there with all of London's great venues. I mean London is the place for this type of museum no doubt given its historical relevance in many wars but mostly the Great wars. This place is stocked full of everything you could want to see. I think its also great that it gets you down into... More

This is an excellent museum - with something for all. Plenty of machines to look at but also sensitive exhibitions showing the horror of war. More

My husband is a history major and we often travel to London. Every chance we get, we visit the Imperial War Museum. There is always something new and fascinating to see. I will tell you to bring a hankie, you will cry at some of the atrocities man commits against man. It is a very interactive museum, so although adult... More

This is an absolutely fantastic museum. This is our second visit there, and it only gets better. We liked all the exhibits, but the Holocaust exhibit is very powerful and moving. More

This place is interesting from the moment you step in and are confronted by WWII artillery and planes overhead. There is a great exhibit about a real family who lived through the war and how they lived. For more modern context there is also an exhibit dedicated to the current soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and how they live their... More

Lots of neat war history in the museum but would have been enhanced by putting things in time order. The Holocaust exhibit was both moving and outstanding in its detail of the indignities and atrocities suffered by millions of people. More

Impressive collection. Much larger than I thought it would be. It takes over 3 hours to see everything. The Holocaust exposition was nicely set and even comprised a miniature of Auschwitz camp. The admission to the museum was free on the occasion. More
