I had previously been on another London Walk a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it, so we decided to give the Olympic Walk a go on our recent trip. Our guide was really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She really gave us good insight into what went into bringing the Olympic Games to London. The downsides: First off, we... More

While we were in London recently we went on three walks with 'London walks': 'Jack the Ripper', Shakespeare and Dickens' and 'The secrets and splendor of St Paul's'. Our favourite would have been the St Paul's tour with Judy, who was passionate about the cathedral, and had good knowledge of the building, at the conclusion of the tour all participants... More

These inexpensive walks will take you where most tourists never go. Grab a brocure and pick a topic. The guides are well versed and very capable. Yoi can also use the internet to ee the schedule. Well worth your time. More

What a walk. If you are interested in bridges, Parks, Big Ben, London Eye, Boats, street entertainers on the Southbank, Southbank Arts centre, River/boat pubs and restaurants, cruises, art galleries - this is the place to be. You can walk to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden. Theatre Land, shops or take the Thames Clipper commuter boat to the Tower of London,... More

Our family of four (two adults and two teens) went on three London Walks on our recent trip: Spies and Spycatchers, Ghosts of the Old City; and The London Tour: Westminster and the West End. Spies and Spycatchers was led by Alan, and while interesting, was our least favorite. Many of the "sites" are no longer there, so much of... More

I went on a Jack-the-Ripper tour hosted by Donald Rumbelow. His talk was interesting but a bit basic for anyone (like myself) who has done any reading on the JTR crimes. The problem with these London Walks is that they are a bit disorganized and there is no limit to the number of people who can join the walk. We... More

We had downloaded the complete brochure before we left the U.S., and finally decided to try one on our fourth day in London - it was Saturday and we planned to visit Portobello Market, so we took the Notting Hill tour. Since we thought of taking more tours, we decided to go ahead and get the "frequent walker" pass, to... More

Our first experience of a London Walk and it was excellent - great value. My wife and I did the Old Westminster walk (1000 years of History) at midday Saturday, so well guided by Peter. A couple of hours of education, entertainment, and exercise! Could it be the best value for money 'attraction' in London? More

I'm a big fan of Rick Steves and he's never yet let me down on a great tour recommendation. His enthusiastic support of the London Walks program is thoroughly well deserved. The program is exceptional and offers ooooodles of venue or theme options. The guides are well informed and entertaining. The prices are very affordable for full or concession fares.... More

A friend and I did the Olympics Walk from West Ham tube station on a Thursday. There were over 100 people on the tour (yes, >100 !!!), and one guide. She tried terribly hard to convince some of us to return instead for the Saturday walk but, having traipsed all the way out to West Ham, none of us were... More
