There was no opportunity to specify in a specific area of the ground. It as a bit like being offered the opportunity to sit on the left, right or middle of the theatre but without being asked whether I wanted to sit in the stalls or circle. This is a very poor way of selling tickets and I have not... More

I went on a non-match day for a ground tour. Easy to get to and a interesting look behind the scenes at Lord's. See the Museum - which is good but not great - of course the Ashes are a must for any Aussie visitors. The MCC pavilion is interesting if just to see the Long rooms and dressing rooms.... More

On returning to England to visit family this was on my "bucket list". The Sri Lankan team were touring and so this was my chance to visit Lord's and of course see England. Easy to enter the ground and straight away you can feel the history. After watching England in Australia this was definitely a step up. You were allowed... More

I am a Cricketer myself with a passion for the game and have long wanted to visit Lords. It would be nice to go to a game there, but with ticket prices and al the travel involved, i can't afford to go, so decided a tour would be the next best thing. Whilst I enjoyed seeing parts of the ground... More

A representative from the MCC leads the tour and our guide was very well informed and his knowledge of cricket (not just English cricket) was commendable. To be able to see inside the Pavillion and the visitors dressing room was great. It is a shame that cameras cannot be used inside. As we are from Australia and cricket fans we... More

There are several ways to visit Lords. Around the year you can sign up for one of the tours of the ground. An MCC member will take you around, show you behind the scenes and tell you about the history of the place. You don't need to be a cricket fan to appreciate the architecture of the pavillion, the history... More

I took my wife for her birthday! She was also going to other places but I wanted to break up the day. She hates cricket having spent a whole day at Headingley watching the Aussies many years ago! Like many tours, it is made or broken by the tour leader and she rapidly warmed to the many anecdotes of our... More
