Camden Market, not far from the busy West End of London and easy to reach by bus or tube, is a must if it's not already on your list of things to do. I was there on a Saturday morning and found a surprising variety of stuff. There was a lot of junk, but a great place to pick up souvineers. Also, the food area was a wonderful collection of food from around the world. more

This is a market with a difference! Notting Hill is very upmarket but Camden Market is much more varied. It has the feel of being the "alternative" market place.
