The first thing that hits you when you walk through the door of this former street corner boozer is the smell....wonderful, rich stews and sausages and veggies hitting you from one of the long bar, now converted into the open kitchen. Next comes the noise of hearty food cooking, with expertly grilled steaks hissing, pan fried fish crackling, pans clanking....you... More

I discover The Eagle thanks to my boyfriend, once we were looking for a place to dine late...and this has now become our regular place after going to Sadler’s Wells tether It’s truly one of the best gastro-pub in London! I go to The Eagle everytime im in london be it for 1 night or 2 weeks. The menu changes daily. Always local and fresh. This is the best gastro pub in london. Better than Harwood! More

Useless service! Do not go here! The service is painful! Nice venue that ciuld be great but is far from it. Do your self a favour and go to weatherspoons! More

Totally off the beaten path in the City. It's a very small place and the menu is written on a chalk board behind the bar. There are only about 8 items on the menu, but they are all good. Large portions and reasonable priced. More
