Watching Nelson, the National Portrait and other major monuments, people walking by... If the weather is warm like it was for us, it gives the area a wonderful feeling of being on holidays...Get there with your... More

Great location with plenty to do around it. Not much to see, but there are tons of tourists taking pictures. It would be a good place to take lunch and people watch but its currently under a ton of construction More

Was very cool to take pictures at night. There is a restaurant called The Crypt nearby that my friends went to that they said was really cool. More

This places is best enjoyed during a festival of some kind - St Patrick's Day, Canada Day, etc. It's a nice place to people-watch and there are usually some good buskers around. Other than that, the main attractions are elsewhere in the area, as this is, really, just a big flat space! More

Since you are no longer able to feed the pigeons the square its self as lost some of it's appeal. It is now more of a place to rest while you are exploring the buildings, gallery's, church's and places around the square but if you come to London you must visit Nelson and sit on one of the 4 loins... I don't think of Trafalgar Square as a destination. Nelson's Column is impressive(!) but the square itself is for tourists. More
