Vinopolis is like a wine tasting experience embedded within displays and information about wine. You walk through the building learning about wine regions and processes for making wine, while stopping at the tables en-route to trade your tasting vouchers for samples of wine. The building itself is interesting too, being under where the trains run.
Top tip: If you are...

I had the Vinopolis Celebration tour bought for me as a birthday present - It was an excellent choice.
It included a how to taste wine session and then you were on your own to wander the extensive cellars and to utilise the many coupons you got as part of the tour.
As my Celebration tour included 6 Regular +...

this was a great night. totally worth it for £17.50 for the spirit and wine tour - not sure if it would be worth it full price!

After visiting Borough market it was time for some drinks, decided to visit Bar Blue, the cocktail bar at Vinopolis, it was happy hour which meant 2-4-1 on cocktails, cost is £7.50 for 2 drinks but they have to be the same cocktail, seating is limited as it was quite busy, cocktails are well made but with only 2 barmen...

Yes this is a good one to visit if you are into wine, whiskey, champagne and gin. You can purchase as many or as little vouchers as you want but can buy more if needed once in the place. Friendly staff and help in your tasting. Only thing I would say against it is their display cabinets need a good...

Vinopolis is a very unique experience which involves being taught how to fully appreciate wine by being taught how to look, taste and smell wine preperly - after the intial lesson you are then free to roam the various wine regions and taste away! Our trip also included Beer, Whisky, Gin, Cocktails, Champagne and many more

I visited Vinopolis on a Saturday evening and had a great time learning that not all wine tastes the same. As the place was pretty busy, the people serving the wine didn't really have much time to explain the tasting notes, so it became a bit more of a fun drinking evening, with a few drunken hen-parties stumbling around for...

Whilst having a day with no agenda one Saturday, we literally stumbled upon Vinopolis after lunch in Borough market....what a find! We bought the tickets that gave you a wine tasting lesson, 3x champagne tasters, 6x wine tasters plus a Bombay Sapphire cocktail. This was plenty for us! The staff were friendly and informative about all sorts of wines. We...

Given Sunday lunch and wine tasting for present. Lunch was one average course, before the wine tasting so to drink wine with Sunday lunch, you had to pay, despite knowing you were tasting wines later. The wines in the tastings were very ordinary £5.00 bottles and at a measure of 25ml per tasting, a huge profit for them. Some of...
