It stands out because of its name, but i felt a little disappointed this time i visited.Again the place was buzzing and full of life with the various street buskers and musicians, some should be on tv,especially the musicians, some of the "entertainment"is a bit ham though. The punch and judy pub is good for a nose from the first level,a nice pub with... so much fun - pub on every corner and perpetual buskers. They are centre stage and easy walking distance from the tube.

Used to be full of independent stores now mainly multiples, but the Apple Market has individual traders and craft stalls. Street entertainers are free , attract large crowds and can be excellent. The eateries are virtually all of the well known British chains and are crowded and quite expensive , much better to dine at restaurants slightly away from main tourist... More

The drinks at Punch and Judy are now ridiculously overpriced - a glass of wine and a beer for nearly £12! Felt like I'd been robbed!!! The show in the square was a bit rubbish too - they used to be good but both we saw failed in whatever they were meant to be doing and weren't funny in the... More

Nice place to spend a Sunday afternoon especially if the weather is nice. Some great restaurants, shops and markets. There are always some interesting street performers, singers, musicans, circus type acts. I always make sure to spare a few hours to visit Covent Garden when in London.

Covent Garden is always a lively place to go. Always something going on and I enjoy the entertainment in the square. The Punch and Judy pub is also worth a visit for a quick drink

I took my teenage daughter to Covent Garden and showed her around the market area. She found herself being drawn to the street entertainers, whom have been entertaining the streets of Covent Gardens for decades and forever will. The young children will love it and sometimes become involved in the act!! Although it's as busy as Oxford circus, there's a... More

I ventured into Covent Garden last Thursday at approximately 13.00. Mistake number one. The throng of bodies was nothing normal; it was like being at a football or soccer match. There are interesting and quirky stores and street vendors, but it is massively overpriced - mistake number two. My second visit, on Thursday morning at 09.00 for breakfast at 'Le... More

I don't. Street entertainers were free. With so many other things to do in London, I'd skip this unless you have extra time and want to see yourself what all the fuss is about.

I stayed on the outskirts of Covent Garden but on several nights I ventured out into the centre of Covent garden and was amazed by how beautiful and welcoming it was.
