Covent Garden is probably on the must-do list of every traveller who is London-bound. It is in Zone 1, close to all the other "must-do" attractions in central london, such as Big Ben, the London Eye, the Horse Guards, Buckingham Palace etc. as such, it is exceedingly crowded and very touristy! Many things here are a tad overpriced, but you... more

Covent Garden is my favorite place in London! It is located in the center of the most fun place in London, and the piazza is not big but feels spacious. There are performers doing stuff like singing, magic tricks and there are small classic concerts sometimes. The open market has a lot of cute hand-crafted goods. Good for window shopping... more

Covent Garden is a place where I always go when in London. The Piazza itself with the small boutiques and restaurant is very nice. Also there are a lot of shops on the nearby streets so this area is well worth a morning or afternoon spent there. There are often music students performing at the Piazza (downstairs) so You´ll be... more

I visit London frequently so like to go to Covent Garden. The latest performer I have seen is "Covent Garden Juggler in pink pants". This performer was on for about an hour, very entertaining, funny. Saw Chicago the night before and I would have to say I enjoyed his performance better!! Once you get a good vantage point, enjoy!! He... more

In the midst of the busy London resides a lovely musical place called Covent Garden. All the colors of London you can find here. There are roadshows, magic shows, artistry, all around the place. Music played by the enthusiatics sets a complete romantic mood! There is a small market indoors that serves as a galleria to new talents! The shops... more

If you have been to Quincy Market in Boston, South Street Sea Port in NYC, Navy Pier in Chicago or Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco you have seen Covent Garden. It has the obligatory street performers and overpriced restaurants as you would expect. But it has its charm too.If you like people watching, relaxing and enjoying the standard sites it... more

There is so much going on here that you can spend a lot of tme just taking it all in. There are lots of street entertainers and buskers some are exceptionally good, others are OK. The Piazza is great to sit or look over the railings at the variety of classical performers, some of whom are really good, however you... more

The lure of Covent Garden is pretty lost on me I’m afraid.. It is a nice enough place with some interesting (albeit overpriced) shoppes, your standard fare jugglers and street performers and a few good restaurants. With all of the wonderful sights, fantastic eateries and dynamic shopping in this city though, why am I stopping here? It is fine if... more

I have spent 10 days in and around Covent Garden and it's just wonderful! The ares is very touristy and is the best area I've seen in London for shopping outside of Oxford Street. There are nice little restaurants, pubs on every street corner and it's just full of people so sometimes some interesting street performers come out. more

I absolutely love Covent Garden and is a must whenever I visit. The entertainers are great, you can come across magicians, comedians, singers and classical music performers. All add a great atmosphere to this lovely area of London. The markets are great, which some lovely stalls offering unique gifts. There are also indoor shops, some high street names and some... more
