I come to London once a year, and I cherry-pick based on the newspaper reviews and Time Out London's "Critics' Picks" but I have almost never been disappointed by a production here--much of the best theatre I have ever seen anywhere has been at the National. I also love that going to the theatre here is such a rich experience,...

What a fantastic play which sared Catherine Kelly (Becky - Corrie) she is such a tallented actress. The Theatre itself is so advanced technicaly it was a good experience to see. Good comfortable seats also. Worth a visit

If your interest is in musicals, the National Theatre is not for you but for serious theatre it is a British treasure. If you like theater then this is for you; great casts and staging. Always at least 2 plays on at a time. Unsold or return tickets available in afternoon of performance. Next to National Film Theater, so that is worth checking out also. Sometimes, there are book sales in front by river. Great place to come in evening; for coffee,...

This museum is now getting rather tired. The displayed items are crowded and the descriptions reasonably sparse. Many people who visit the museum now do not have war experience to know what they are seeing so more contextual information would be appreciated.

The National rarely puts on a bad play. Many of the best actors turn up at the National and whilst it may be an obscure or new play it is worth just turning up and enjoying it. Worth going on the night - there are often last minute returns.
