Not far from Brick Lane, the market was heaving making it difficult to move at times. Plenty of bargains to be had, we got a bunch of 10 red roses for £4. Even if you don't spend, just listen to the stall holders banter and with the surroundings you could be back in the Dickens era, fantastic! More

Great selection of flowers and bedding plants at discount prices. A photographer's dream ground with all the colour on display in narrow streets. The stall holders know their stuff and will dispense free advice on plant care whilst bellowing their wares in typical London market styles. Wonderful place to vist. We went on a Sunday morning. Loved all of the flower stalls plus the individual shops. bakeries and coffee shops along the road and down side lanes. More

The market has a large variety of plants, but a LOT are poor quality - for example, my friend bought a phalenopsis orchid (also called moth orchid) with big white flowers - but the flowers had little brown specs on them - not from the variety, but what looked like a bug. We did find some others without the brown... More
