Sadly, with the security that we now all have to take in our stride, this one is now one of those have a look through the gates jobs best done on ones way to Parliament or Trafalgar Square. Even so, might be worth a photo? More

a bit difficult to see much - worth the trip to take the photo, but in reality, you can't see much of the building for all the security measures More

Can't really see much behind the gates, just other people trying to get a glimpse of 10 Downing Street. Pretty unimpressive as you can stand right outside the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace to get your photo taken. More

There is too much security, so you can't access properly to the street. Still, it's nice to sneak through the bars and see the actual entrance door to the number 10. More

Of course, you would go to see the official residences of the Prime Minister and Chancellor if you are interested in day to day politics . . . but they're better on telly. More

I think if you are in the area it is worth going down to have a look. I went there after taking the tour of the Houses of Parliament; it is only a short stroll from there. Like previous reviews have stated you have to peer through wrought iron gates to get a glimpse but I’ve seen it enough on... More

The police at the gates were very friendly, more so than I would be if I was hounded by tourists every day. However, number 10 is quite far away and not easy to see or get a good photo. More
