I love walking through the smaller streets - get off Oxford Street and Regents Street when you have finished shopping and explore the buildings, streets and even alleys between, and behind. Cafes, small shops, and interesting architecture abound

The West End seems a bit tatty to me at the moment. The West End Company is concentrating on the "big" streets, the face which is seen by most tourists. Went with friends to pick up some tickets and walked round the area killing time. There is a buzz particularly around early evening before all the shows open
