This farm is better than Hackney city farm. It is a lot bigger and cleaner and more animals to look at. As you would expect plenty of farm animals on display which can be petted. There is also a nature trail route to stroll along, also a big picnic area which has a few children playing obstacles. A good day... More

This place is gr8 to pop into if your passing by or live quite local, but if you have to plan a journey DON'T. The animals are lovely and ever so friendly gr8 for the kids but do make sure you have eaten or take a lunch with you as i found the mudchute kitchen (the only place to eat)... More

It's hard to believe that Mudchute Farm is so close to the hustle and bustle of Canary Wharf and Asda. It's full of natural life and it's very surreal to see sheep grazing (or on the day we were there horses cantering) with the Canary Wharf towers looming in the background. We loved all the farm animals (our group was... More

If I fancy a break from the city I pop here during my lunch break. The food has improved recently but some of the staff needs better training More

We cycled to Mudchute Park. The cafe was pleasant and the prices reasonable. The boys has spag bol (£4 each); my wife had the soup (huge bowl) and I had the Big Breakfast (£7.50). Lots of options in respect of hot drinks and homemade cakes. More

We visited the farm on a sunny Sunday afternoon in July not expecting much, but it turned out to be a lovely day out! There are plenty of farm animals, horse stables, a huge park and a little restaurant (which we didn't visit). We live fairly local and will definitely go back as it's proved to be a little oasis... My 21 month old son and I thought this looked like a fun way to spend a couple of hours one sunny Thursday in half term - what a mistake. We live locally so took the DLR to Mudchute. We then had to trek for about 25 mins, with a buggy, through a completely un signposted field, down bumpy bridleways,... More

As other reviewers have described, this is the largest of London's city farms, and has a very good range of farm and pet animals as well as plenty of space to run around bothering sheep. Muchute Park also has a pleasingly wild nature trail. The very good news is that the cafe has now reopened, and it is run by... More

I've been to a couple of the London city farms, so I was intrigued by the idea of this being the largest farm in London. I visited with a 3 year old on a clear if not warm february day. The good. We entered from mudchute station (so via the Asda carpark as suggested) so missed probably the most interesting... More

We visited Mudchute Farm whilst staying at the Britannia International Hotel in Canary Walk. It is only a short service bus trip from there. We were very impressed with the way the farm is organised and run. Everything was very clean and the animals were very tame and well cared for. It was strange to see rolling fields with a... More
