Went back to the Queen's Gallery for the Da Vinci exhibition of his Anatomical drawings which were so far ahead of time that some are still interesting today. It was very interesting to see his view on how the brain and overall cardiovascular system works as it was very tied into how the overall view of the body was at... More

Leonardo da Vinci was a multitalented genious, and the Queen´s Gallery have managed to present it in a way that enables great learning and appreciation of someone who was at least 200 years before his own time. More

A stunning collection and display of photographs by Herbert Ponting and Frank Hurley taken during the Scott and Shackleton expeditions to Antarctica. A stunning and moving tribute to those great men who risked their lives in pusuit of knowledge. More

This is a small gallery right along side Buckingham Palace, but few of the hordes of tourists make it to this lovely place. The current exhibition, The Heart of the Great Alone, has original photos taken on the Scott (1910-12) Expedition and Shackleton (1914-17) Expedition. The story of these two ill-fated adventures is well-told in this exhibition and the photos... More

These fantastic plate photos taken on the Scott and Shackleton exhibitions between 1910-1917 are amazing, inspiring and mortifying. Knowing the despair and death of many of the photographed explorers, the story is well told through this amazing collection of photos. Go and see it. Also, the Queen's Gallery must have the friendliest, mature and professional attendants instilling pride in their... More

I love to visit the Queen's Gallery. It is just the right size. The current exhibition is photographs from the Shakelford and Scoot exploration of the South Pole. You can buy a joint admission ticket and then visit the Royal Mews to see the Queen's horses and carriages. More

This is a fantastic exhibition set in a wonderful gallery. At £7.50 it is well worth the fee. The exhibition is the photographs taken on the 2 exhibitions both of which were unsuccessful in terms of their stated aims but the adversity and challanges that are caught in these photos is amazing. More
