My husband and I went to the Belmont Group Musical evening by candlelight on Saturday last. It was exceptionally good. We were seated at the front, in the Nave, because it was our first time, but to be honest, if you were anywhere it would be excellent. The accoustics are first rate. I've heard that there are great accoustics and festivals are sometimes held here. I think they do a great job with homeless people etc, which is great. In June, we attended a lovely mostly Mozart, choral concert here. The performance was excellent, and the accoustics were terrific. The venue has a cafe in the cript below the church where you can purchase a buffet-served dinner, drinks or desserts. more
