We came from the States excited to see Stonehenge and Bath after reading and hearing so much about them. Needless to say this tour with Tours from Antiquity exceeded our expectations. What made this tour exceptional was our Tour Guide, Edward. His knowledge was quite extensive and we learned a great deal. He was able to answer all our questions... More

The first remarkable thing about this tour is the range of sites we were able to visit. We started off with a trip to Woodhenge and Durrington Walls to set the scene. Then we made our way to nearby Stonehenge, also soaking up the nearby processional avenue, cursus monument, and various barrows that litter the landscape. Our afternoon took us... More

I was really looking forward to touring Stonehenge and Bath with an expert, and was very pleased with the day out, despite the March fog and cold. Prior to my trip to England I had been disappointed when It appeared that the tours with Tours from Antiquity were all booked up over the Canadian March school break (my two travelling... More

I really satisfied with the visits including Stonehenge and Bath. The weather was totally fine, and the guide was just great! I didn't know much about history and archeology, but his knowledge was quite extensive, and his explanation was easy to understand. I think that if we had gone to these places by ourselves, we would have ended up to... More

I very much enjoyed my visit to Stonehenge with Tours from Antiquity. Our guide, a qualified archeologist, was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the Neolithic period. Whereas most of what is known about the monument is a mixture of fact and theory, Edward brought it to life in an organised, clear manner. Seeing Avenury (a second henge monument) and... More

Despite the early start and the foggy weather, this turned out to be a terrific tour. I had been to Stonehenge before but had never enjoyed the benefit of an archeologist's insights and knowledge which brought enormous added value to the whole experience. Another benefit of this tour is the "user friendly" way in which the history of these monuments... More

Can't say much more than the other reviewers have said. The tour was crammed full of knowledge from our friendly guide who clearly loved what he did. The sites we visited were beautiful and we learn't loads we didn't know. Overall it was a great day out and good value for what we got from the day. You need to... More

My wife Anne and I decided to take a trip to London to celebrate our anniversary - it was our first trip since we had our children so we really wanted to have a good time - Annie found Tours From Antiquity on TripAdvisor and was intrigued by the fact that an Archaeologist would accompany the tour. While we expected... More

We went on a day tour with Tours from Antiquity after finding online and it was a great experience. My husband has always been interested in archaeology so I thought it would be a nice treat to go along and have a nice day out from visiting London. The bus picked us up outside the Natural History Museum first thing,... More
