Speaker's Corner is a great place for enlightenment, entertainment and just plain people-watching. The best...make that ONLY day to visit is Sunday morning when the crowds congregate. Grab a soapbox or taunt/applaud those brave enough to express their views (you may even get a "free hug"). Oxford Street is adjacent to Speaker's Corner should you wish to spend the rest... more
Was in Hyde Park between 9 am and 10 am on Sunday and not a soul to be found at Speakers Corner. more
My first visit in 20 years. Now S.C. is a waste of time. There is no longer anything interesting here. A collection of racists, antisemitics and ranting idiots. Really nothing to waste your time doing in one of the great cities of the world. more
