We booked to go on this tour last Sunday (6 May) and what a waste of time it turned out to be! We saw nothing but empty rooms and walked endless empty corridors. A tatty and battered old and now unused Blue Peter set was actually part of the tour. Why? If you have ever wondered how your TV licence... More

Had booked a CBBC studio tour a couple of months prior to travel and glad we did. Great guides (Adrian & Zoe) with good variety of information and activities for children and adults alike. A full two hours+ is what we got with lots of educational interactive experiences - wish this had been possible when I was growing up! Very... More

Took the family here, my son was provided with a wheelchair as he has trouble walking far. Had to go through a security check, and metal detectors, but the tour guides were very friendly and helpful. Sat in meeting room near to the newsdesk, went to the weather section, saw the Blue Peter set which is still there, plus several... More

BBC Television Centre in West London is now coming towards the end of its life. The BBCs News operation is moving to the new broadcast centre at Broadcasting House in central London, and a lot of the traditional TV Studio programme-making has already been moved out to other locations, including a lot of independent production facilities. The 52-year-old iconic TV... More

When I went, I got to visit my favourite sets where various programs were made. You get a chance to ask questions about the BBC and get acces to top rooms (excluding those dressing rooms!). You also get a chance to visit the gift shop or buy a postcard from BBC Telivision Center London! More

The tour lasted about 90 minutes. We were a group of just above 20 people, and there were two tour guides who showed us around the television centre. We got to see some of the studios (from behind a glass screen only), and walked through lots of aisles and staircases. The tour guides could have been a bit more entertaining,... More

Not the best attraction in London by a long shot but worth going to before all the services are moved out. I agree with other reviewers I think it depends on which guide you get as to whether it's a good tour. What you get to see is minimal and if your expecting anything similar to the Granada studios tour... More

We had brilliant tour guides who were both informative and funny. It was great to see around the building that we have seen so often on tv. Saw dressing room, news centre, weather corridor and a couple of studios. Really good value for money at less than £10 per person and you get to keep your lanyard with pass on... More

For only around £9 a two hour tour can be had round BBC television centre. Saw the research rooms, a couple of the filming studios and saw the rehearsal for room 101 with Fern Britton, Robert Webb and Frank Skinner. Tour guides were really good. Although we were on a tour with a school trip the tour guides catered for... More

Did not find it that interesting. We did the kids tour as my son is 6 but he was bored quite quickly. Only saw an old blue peter stage and pointless studio from a gantry. Expected alot more. More
