What a great pub, great area, historic building, just what you would expect unless you are out for a dinning experience. This is a pub with pub food, but if you want to sit and relax a bit and take in the area, I think you will enjoy it. Touristy, perhaps, but it is a cool little place. More

Ate here twice on a recent trip into London. Busy place to be sure, but good food and beer, and a nice outdoor space in front of the pub to chat or watch football. Worth a stop. More

We went into The Swan to escape from the pouring rain on March 4 and spent a pleasant afternoon there, but no thanks to the food. The salads were limp and the Shepherd's Pie was extremely over-salted---hence the pleasant afternoon, we drank too much. I read in other reviews that this is a tourist trap and as travelers in London,... More

For some reason, one I can´t put my finger on, The Swan is my favourite pub in London and I go there everytime I´m there. Outside, there are heaters so you can sit outside even in the winter time and feel warm and cozy. There is a good choice of lagers and other ales. Food is good too and on... More

We ate here on both Saturday and Sunday evening. Both meals were well prepared, hot and tasty. Excellent value for London. On the Sunday night we sat near the counter and everything that came out of the kitchen looked delicious. Steak Pie, Fish and Chips (small size but big enough) and fish pie was our choice. More

I've just got home from The Swan on Bayswater Road (we live a few streets away) after trying it out for Sunday lunch. It's been a cold, snowy February day and we were really up for a simple Sunday roast in a nice London pub. The Swan is in a great location, opposite Hyde Park, and is nicely laid out... More

Went in for a full English but was very disappointed. Coffee was instant and still has bits in it when served. Sausage was black on the outside and pink on the inside and the one that was cooked wasn't particularly nice. However bacon was very nice. Service not with a smile. Not value for money. Free wifi though! More

A very traditional pub indeed. Right beside the Kensington Gardens entrance, you can't miss it. This is a very good location to get some rest after a good walk in the Park. Here I had the best ale among the ones I had in the city (London Pride was the name) and even though I'm not fond of English Ales,... More

This old pub is located directly at the northern side of Kensington Garden, near the tube station "Lancaster Gate" (Central Line) and ideal for a refreshment after a day of shopping or sightseeing if you live in a nearby hotel as I did or just walk by. On weekends the pub offers live music (Friday to Sunday), the interior is... More
