Had an excellent night with good food and entertainment. To see the sights from a different viewpoint in daylight and at night with everything lit up was spectacular. The dining crew who were led by Oscar were first class, as was the food which was served piping hot, the glass of champagne served on arrival set the scene for a... More

I booked this over the phone only a few days before we went and it turned out to be fantastic. I jokingly asked for sunshine & a window seat and they provided both. Afternoon tea was substantial with lovely fresh sandwiches, little buns and scones with jam & cream and as much tea or coffee as required. I got this... More

I would suggest do the river cruise it is a lovely way to see a bit of the city. I thought was reasonably priced. I would suggest that you buy a return as it is not much more money and I would most definitely start the tour at the Tower of London, you might not get a seat upstairs and... More

We travelled from Greenwich Pier to Westminster Pier and back took about 2.5/3 hours but brilliant way to see the sites and have a colourful, humorous commentary as well. (well worth the tip in the Captains bucket at end of trip) Coffee and snacks and toilet facilities on board. We joined at Greenwich on a Sunday morning at 10.30 and... More

We had this as part of our Big Bus tour ticket, and it was certainly worth the journey. Kids enjoyed it as well. We travelled from Westminster to Tower Bridge

Our City Cruises trip was included within our Original London Sightseeing Tour tickets, and given we paid for those in full with Tesco Clubcard Vouchers it was a bargain. We travelled from Westminster to Greenwich – not sure our ticket was supposed to cover us that far but no one checks once you are on the boat. Presumably we may... More

Bought some discounted tickets on Travelzoo a while back but the weather hasn't been good enough to use them this year. With the expiry date rapidly approaching, we took the plunge and went yesterday. It was a sunny day, with some clouds and a fairly chilly breeze but we had a fantastic time. Picked up the boat at Westminster Pier... More

We used City Cruises as a way to travel from Westminster Pier to Tower Pier rather than the tube. We took the first cruise that left at 9:45. It was easy to find, and we had a beautiful day so all the better to see the sights rather than travel under ground. The crew gave some really interesting and funny... More

We purchased the rover tickets for 2 adults (our child was free). We got the tickets for half price since we purchased on the website. This was cheaper than buying an all day public transport pass. Even though we were limited to river stops, we used this day to see Greenwich (allow at least 2 hours for this stop) as... More

I took a couple of trips on these ships thanks to getting a rover ticket, so I could hop on and off. They were easy to board and use, with friendly staff, and so useful for a different viewpoint of the city. Well worth a trip or three!
