I phoned to book tickets and was told "turn up Sunday at 6pm, you'll be able to get them on the door" - at 6pm I was told this how is sold out. We were not the only people told this and had add a wasted journey.

Always a great night here - I go every time I'm in London. My face always hurts from laughing. Get in line early - it gets crowded quickly.

Went to the late show on Saturday night, got there about 45 mins before the start so we could eat. The food on offer is limited but hits the spot, had felafels with chips and salad, very filling and reasonable at about £7 and serves quickly and with a smile..

I couldn't recommend it more, especially with a 4 pint 'jug' of beer involved as the jokes get even funnier. Arrive early for good seats but...

I've been several times, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays Saturdays and Sundays. Wednesdays and Sundays are improv nights - a nice change of format and a bit more interactive with the crowd.
I've tried other places - I usually hesitate at the at the thought, but laughter is laughter and those other places are ok - but The Comedy Store is...
