Nice place to go to. Don't miss it! It's doll houses are done in a Victorian style. The building itself is very old too. Nice little shop on the way out.

A visit to this unique museum will bring back memories of you own childhood, as in "I had one of those." At the same time you will see children's toys from eras other than your own. I loved the trains, my daughters the dolls and all of us, the sheer volume of things to see.

Chocked full of stuff! Every imaginable toy ever made is here. Every square inch is covered with a curiosity. I believe the wax dolls on the upper floors watch us as we pass through.....Would not have gone had it not been included in the London Pass, but a decent distraction.

Everything I remember as a child and much more, worth a second and third visit.

I have such fond memories of my late Dad taking me and my sister to this museum, it's like stepping back in time and makes you feel happy:-)

The house the museum was in was interesting in itself and...

The collection is not in mint condition and to be honest it was very creepy and though it was interesting that factor over powered everything else. The staircase was rather small and the store below it was disappointing. to me it was not worth the 5 pounds. Perhaps for someone who is very interesting in such things.

Felt I had to comment after seeing the last review was a negative one.
Yes the displays are "crammed" and dis-organised, but this added to the interest for us - it really seemed like a quirky old throwback from 60 years ago, as if nothing had changed since then. There are many, MANY toys - mostly seeming to be from...
