Nice place to go to. Don't miss it! It's doll houses are done in a Victorian style. The building itself is very old too. Nice little shop on the way out. More

A visit to this unique museum will bring back memories of you own childhood, as in "I had one of those." At the same time you will see children's toys from eras other than your own. I loved the trains, my daughters the dolls and all of us, the sheer volume of things to see. More

Chocked full of stuff! Every imaginable toy ever made is here. Every square inch is covered with a curiosity. I believe the wax dolls on the upper floors watch us as we pass through.....Would not have gone had it not been included in the London Pass, but a decent distraction. More

Nearly every item is contained within a display cabinet and because of poor lighting, this means lots of reflections. Many items are not displayed well and there is lack of order and attention to detail.More should be done to offer interaction,so that children and adults can touch and play with items, but that would cost money.Sooty and Sweep were there and so... The museum is close to Goodge Street Tube station. It is full of toys from over the last couple of centuries arranged in interesting groups. The dolls, dolls houses and soft toys were particularly interesting to me. The displays though were very static, information hard to read and scanty. The house the museum was in was interesting in itself and... More

The collection is not in mint condition and to be honest it was very creepy and though it was interesting that factor over powered everything else. The staircase was rather small and the store below it was disappointing. to me it was not worth the 5 pounds. Perhaps for someone who is very interesting in such things. More

Felt I had to comment after seeing the last review was a negative one. Yes the displays are "crammed" and dis-organised, but this added to the interest for us - it really seemed like a quirky old throwback from 60 years ago, as if nothing had changed since then. There are many, MANY toys - mostly seeming to be from... More
