Bishop's Park and its environs have just been completely refreshed by the council after a one year renovation project. It now has a superb children's play area, large ornamental lake and pitches for football & rugby not to mention an improved cafe. The position, just to the north of Putney Bridge, is scenic and affords great views of the Thames....

We visited on a sunny Saturday, perfect place but the restaurant/cafe manager seemed intent on upsetting as many people as possible and preventing the purchase of food and drink rather than serving it. Beautiful park area along the Thames on the Fulham side of Putney Bridge. A nice area to go for a stroll. There is a once beautiful pond that remains there.
For movie buffs this is one of the filming locations for the 1976 movie The Omen. The scene where Gregory Peck meets with the Priest was shot here and nearby...
