We visited The Sanctuary as a group of four as a Birthday treat and had a lovely, relaxing day. Contrary to previous reviews I found the atmosphere peaceful and stress free. The staff at reception were extremely helpful as were the staff in all areas of the spa. It didn't seem crowded to us, it was clean and there were... More

My friend bought me a voucher for this place. I use to go here quite a bit (5 years ago)and back then it was always lovely. How times have changed. It was now dirty and the staff were really bored.I asked someone foe a magazine and she snapped at me that they were all out and it was too bad if... More

I had a spa day at The Sanctuary today and had been looking forward to it for months. However, I was a bit disappointed. I went on my own and was hoping for an afternoon of peace and tranquility punctuated, and enhanced by, by a complimentary 'Sleep Retreat' of 25 minutes and my chosen treatment - a 55 minute facial... A great place to relieve jet lag or the stresses of life. You need to book in advance but it's well worth it. More

The Sanctuary is located in the midst of tourist heavy Covent Garden. The entrance immediately spells relaxation but to be honest that is where it ends (depending on treatments). The front of house staff are these days mostly Eastern European. At check in I couldn't understand her but we got there in the end. I was left waiting for a... More

Received a day trip to the sanctuary as a special birthday gift and was extremely exited! As a senior beauty therapist in one of Europe's top spas working full time, I was in desperate need of some 'me time' and to be on the other side of a treatment. Firstly my partner had problems booking the day, he reserved two... More

I got a gift certificate to go to the Sanctuary for my first mothers' day and was really looking forward to some pampering and some 'me' time. Unfortunately, my experience did not even come close to their marketing machine assertions about the place. I'll start with the positives first since it's only fair to write a balanced review. The therapists... More

I was treated a day spa at Covent Gardens sanctuary Spa. I had very high expectations and I was disappointed with the service and my treatment as my therapist (Alice McGhee) was incredibly rude, didn't apply enough pressure, the room temp was bitterly cold. She had a very bad attitude and I would certainly never go back to the Sanctuary... More

I had a voucher for Champagne Day (use of facilities, 25 mins treatment and Champagne brunch) which was GBP140. The "relaxation" areas (Koi Carp Lounge in particular) were very crowded and noisy, I felt as if I was in Starbucks. The staff was not cleaning/tidying up quickly enough and there were plenty of leftover food/drinks all over the lounge. Pools... More

Had a really good time today. Really enjoyed the cleanliness and effort from the staff. Very accomodating. Had a back and neck massage and sleep retreat and enjoyed both. The venue is a complete labrinth and got very confusing but still enjoyed the exploration. Very busy being a Saturday. Found room to sit but didnt feel very personable. Might book... More
