this is a giant multi-pod ferris wheel that is completely enclosed and goes once around. don't do it if it rains--pix will not come out nicely. For $15-20 per person--not worth it. We got no better views than when we did the less expensive, more entertaining river Thames cruise. more

The London Eye is good if you want a few good travel pictures of you on the eye, but the price is way too high for me to recommend it. Right near the end of the ride they take a picture of each whole side of the capsule which you can buy at the end for another 10 GBP, but... more

Riding the London Eye is a bit touristy, but it is FUN! The view is great depending of weather of course and the line is long. Be prepared to submit to an light "airport security screening". more
