Beautiful building and general feel. Shame about the arrogant, rude and dismissive barman last night, who managed to completely ruin the experience for me. Will not be visiting again. More

3 generations of us went seeking this Inn as we were in the area and had heard it was owned by the NT. Tucked back off the main road, clean and friendly staff. Pretty good beers on tap. More

We found our way to the George on a rainy Saturday evening. As the the downstair's bars were full and we were starving hungry, we headed to the restaurant. upstairs for "a treat." It a typical very old rustic English pub/restaurant (three rooms?) across the Borough Market. It has a fantastic old cobblestone courtyard.
