We traveled a long way to see Kina Grannis perform live on February 9th. The staff did a horrible job getting people into the venue. People with actual printed tickets were given preferential treatment. Those of us with tickets waiting at the box office were only allowed in one at a time, and it was definitely chilly outside (snowing). The... More

Fantastic venue, acoustics were amazing and the atmosphere really was spiritual. really beautiful. I cannot praise this venue enough, great bar with reasonable prices above the chapel. This was a very intimate setting and I certainly will be going again. Check out utube videos of Adam Cohen or anything on union chapel and you can gauge some of the magic More

This might be my favorite venue to see and hear music in London. In the evening the place lit up with fairy lights that look like candles which makes it quite pretty. You will be able to see from almost every seat and the balcony is good too. Nice acoustics as well. Easy walk from tube. No coat check. More

After four years, the Union Chapel on Upper Street is now scaffold free. The tower and beautiful clock are now visible once more. Such an amazing building. With a new artist in residence and plenty of other things going. Visit on a Saturday lunchtime to check out free bands playing Then grab a coffee in Euphorium Coffee shop down the... More

Union chapel has a great reputation as a live music venue. I read many reviews in advance of our first visit there last night and looked forward to our visit with much anticipation. Music inside a Church. What’s not to love about that. The supporting act articulated my thoughts perfectly when announcing 'What an incredible venue. I had seen the... More

Union Chapel's reputation is deserved, but it wasn't until I got inside the doors of this imposing Gothic edifice that its appeal became apparent. Buying through Music Glue, I had to pay a booking fee - why do we accept these, especially when we have done all the booking ourselves - and then had very heavy terms emailed to me.... More

Returned to the Union Chapel again last night to see the wonderful Unthanks sisters, Becky and Rachel, play a set comprised of Anthony & the Johnsons and Robert Wyatt covers. I think this venue is just a little bit inspirational and it has always brought out something very special in the artists I have seen perform here. Last night was... More
