Its red plush and gilded interior is stylishly retro, offsetting its diverse contemporary output. Madame Jojo's most celebrated show is Kitsch Cabaret, an evening of feathers, glitz and dazzling live music, the first choice for guests who want a fun, entertaining and glamorous night out. « less

Went to celebrate a friends birthday. Paid forty pounds to be sat behind people unable to see stage. People who had paid for standing encroached on seated area only lasts, 90 minutes, half the acts were mediocre. Lots of drunk 'hens' this is not a classy night out. After show party just in bar down the road. Go to a... More

Im disappointed that I couldn't give this a no star!! We were at the Kitsch Cabaret last night and it was rubbish!! Small stage, appalling acts, overpriced (and warm) drinks, no food service..... £25 per person....total rip off... I'm sure there are much better shows at the fancy dress night at your local pub! It was truely low class and... More

We came, as a group from work, on a friends "hen night ". We. Found your club so small, it was uncomfortable, and the drinks were extremely overpriced!!!! We all came dressed up in burlesque, and found ourselves very much in the minority!!!! The acts were extremely unprofessional and un polished......and the most obscene of all was a grungy poet,... Our party of 9 went to celebrate an 18th birthday party and were greeted and seated by the most gorgeous drag queen you ever did see. She litterally floated along the floor and reminded me very much of the way that the Stepford Wives walked after transformation in the movie. I had the feeling that we had stepped back in... More

Went to a comedy cabaret/burlesque night here, arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 show - all seats taken but managed to secure a couple during a break and sit on the balcony next to the mix-desk. Was a good evening, quite funny but a shame many were left standing at the back. More

Overpriced drag show. Do not believe the advertising! £25 for this, you're having a laugh. I can get attitude from drag queens without paying £25 for it. Pretentious over inflated egos. More

Had weekend in London. Looked for something different, went to Madame Jo Jo's. ticket prices were outrageous. We spent £25 for standing only ticket. We were told to be there for 7 as the show starts at7.30pm. On entry we were told it was not a full house so when the show started we could take any available seat. As... More

Am trully surprised by the large numer of negative reviews but going through them, I believe there is a common thread - price and expectations. We were there last night for Madame Jojo's New Year Eve's extravaganza - my first time to Jojo's but not my first burlesque show. Show started at 815pm on the dot and ended at 1015pm... More
