Dirty, scruffy, Packed with bad clubs and worse 'pubs' Slightly threatening feeling for women (and some men) to walk down at night and generally has a depressing vibe....unless you're pissed and laaaavvvviiinn it! I rarely walk down this road but of the odd times I have there's always at least one blood spatter or pile of vomit from the night...

Prince of Wales Road (POW) is the biggest of the 3 main areas for Norwich nightlife, with Riverside and Queen Street/Tombland.
If you have only one night out in Norwich, it would be criminal to miss out on POW.
Word of warning - POW is to be avoided if you aren't impressed by thumping music, bountiful take-aways, cheap drinks deals...
