A carbuncle in the centre of a fine city. The old library was razed to the ground in a devastating fire and we ended up with this monstrosity after years of wrangling over 'lottery' funding instead of the Council spending the insurance pay-out and building a perfectly normal library replacement. The views from the outside are impressive, but inside the feeling of space in the atrium and the view out to St Peter Mancroft are superb. Add to that a great library and an OK Pizza Express with great views and you can't really lose. More

I find that there are always different things going on here - exhibitions etc so never the same twice - the cafes and restaurants are good too More

Nice modern space in this ancient city. Often has markets or exhibitions going on, and the library and BBC are situated here. Good outdoor space as well. More

Ordered pizza before a visit to the Theatre Royal and had to ask continuosly when it would arrive. Eventually when it did we had to leave it as we were due at the show. More
