Whitby just fantastic for wondering round soaking up the old world feel wonder down to the light house and gaze out to see if you can see the old sailing ships sailing by. More

The lighthouse is a nice walk but the real draw is the fish and chips beforehand. You will find it hard to beat Whitby fish 'n chips. More

Fabulous views from the top, lots of steps but not as many as up to the abbey. Unfortunately it's currently closed as it appears to be leaning. Hopefully it will be sorted along with the end of the pier. More

A steep climb up the inside of the lighthouse. A small viewing area at the top offering great views of the harbour on a clear day. More

Although the view is okay fromn the lighthouse it isn't much to talk about but Whitby itself is well worth visiting. Fantastic fish and chips from here! More

Lighthouse opened as I strolled along the pier. Took the chance and managed to get some amazing wide angle shots with my D-SLR from there. More
