Went with my husband as we love watching ghost programmes. We were really disappointed, its just a wander round a few old darkened rooms with an audio commentary that was so loud and overbearing it would have scared the ghosts away. I'm quite a nervous person and have been very scared on other ghost tours but I didn't feel scared... More

I am really into the supernatural, but my partner doesn't believe in it at all. I managed to convince him to humour me enough to come with me to the house. We paid a fiver each, the guy told us there would be no actors jumping out at us and to just listen to the commentary via audio and follow... More

i was not sure what to expect but found this house has a unique strange feel to it,the commentaries guiding you from room to room give it a good spook factor.some of the rooms more of a tingle factor than others.sure most people would enjoy this. More

Weren't sure this would be worthwhile as we thought it might be 'faked'. However, we ended up going twice. It was good to see this really old house with lots of old and beautiful stained glass windows and old panelling etc., with rooms higgedly piggedly every which way. We actually found the commentary quite interesting. The first room entered felt... More

Cannot say I experienced any spirits or creepiness but it was nice to see inside a really old house, especially how small and dark some of the rooms are. More

Took advantage of the 2 4 1 scheme so a fiver each. The whole tour is based on a seies of dimly lit rooms with a very load sound commentary. Many of the tales may well be true but unless you've got a very vivid imagination it's not that scary. More

When I read that the Most haunted team had run out of here screaming I was expecting big things. Unfortunately it didn't live up to it, it was dark due to closed curtains and dark furnishing and it is a lovely house, full of history but i came away a little disappointed, I didn't expect to see ghosts or feel... A great idea, and I sincerely believe that this house is the bona fide article. Something just doesn't feel right the moment you walk through the door. The rooms are very authentic and the property really is a tardis. It is a lot bigger than it first appears. If it were me i would lose the automated guide. It spoils... More
