We did the tour on a very cold & icy night in York after waiting for a tour which was due to start at 7 but the guide never turned up, the ghost trail however prides itself on running whatever the weather & I'm glad we did it, despite it being our backup. The tour lasts just over an hour,... More

I really wanted this to be great. It was entertaining and fun, but fell short of my expectations. This tour made me feel like I was on a walking tour led by Willy Wonka who says a lot but tells very little of any substance or interest. I'm glad we took this tour, but would rather pay more for a... More

The tour consisted of many historical stories of places in York. It would be great for families and people who want to learn more about the spookier aspects of York. Despite the frigid breeze in December, we really enjoyed the tour and for 4GBP, you can't beat the cheap entertainment. More

We were celebrating my birthday on our first trip to York and we will cherish and remember our enthusiatic guide who brought each location to life and was very clear in his diction. The walk started promptly at 7:30pm and was very entertaining. Well attended too. Recommended. More

Cold night and the ost talker set the scene by dressing up in old Victorian cloak and top hat, he even had a cane!! Our group was about 25 or so people and I was thinking already that this would be very good!! Oh, it was just as Dissapointing as trying to seeing England lose the Europa league last year!!... More

It was a very crisp stary night and we were pleased that many more hardy souls joined us for a scary and fun story walk. The natural guide made us very welcome and by the finsh we were thrilled and entertained in good measure. We especially loved the black cats and the sound effects! More

We went on two Ghost Walks over the Halloween weekend, and while this wasn't my favourite it was the "scariest". There was a large group following but we could clearly see and hear the guide. The spots they chose and the stories told were all excellent and everyone in our group found it fun. Most of my friends did not... More

I really enjoyed this Ghost Trail. It was totally new to me and now I am a big fan. It was so exciting on a warm night that turned dramatically and we huddled together, listening rapt, sheltering from the storm. Great! More

£4 each isn't really much these days, but still a complete waste. One of the storytellers made it his job to mock his own stories and make excuses for his poor delivery at each stop. The other one belonged on York race course, as a tout. Maybe that's how he got the idea to fleece people! Utter drivel. More
