Our host was very welcoming to the crowd who were from all over the world. We were then treated to vivid and entertaining ghost stories told with a dash. Brilliant finale! Moving and really very good! We attended The Ghost Trail on Tuesday 13 July at 7.30pm beneath the tree at the west doors of the Minster. more
Excllent ghost walk. More like theatre really. Two or three of the stories actually gave me the creeps. Brilliant atmosphere and the bit with the bells was just great! Thanks again more

We met at 7:30pm at the west end of York Minster last Saturday. It was a warm night and the actor arrived some minutes before and the tour started when the bell on York Minster struck half past. He was full of character and it felt like he really believed in the stories some of which gave me a thrill... more

We took the Ghost Trail based on reviews here and on their own site, but I have to say the fact that they are overwhelmingly 5 star surprises me a little. The actor that took our tour had an excellent dramatic voice and told a few interesting stories, but to be honest, also told a couple of rather weak ones.... more

Cannot recommend this tour enough.The guide is excellent, and gives a real sense of atmosphere. Theres some good old corny humour (but not overdone) and some very spooky tales. The one about the plauge house gave me the creeps. Also i recognised the guides voice from some podcast stories ive heard him do. Hes very good at story telling and... more

This ghost trail was great. Pretty thrilling and fun for the kids. Have been on a few ghost trail's but this is the best so far. This is the second ghost tour we have done in York and I really enjoyed it. It was snowing really hard and one of the coldest night of the year but it made it more fun. i loved the bloke's voice who did the tour, very dramatic and he was very entertaining. Would certainly recommend it. more

Excellent! Entertaining and spooky. Came over last Saturday with my tribe. They so enjoyed it. We were up talking about the stories in the night and the kids too the next morning.
