Staff worked VERY hard as there was only 3 of us taking the tour. I wont say too much but be prepared to get involved and you will get jumpy. But you will have fun!!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed York Dungeon, bit of a wait with it being half term, thoughtful staff brought out umbrellas for those of us in the queue when it started raining!
We got given a 'bogof' ticket by some very kind random chap! Very pleased, we do like a bargain! Apparently Subway were doing a promo, don't know...

Had already decided to visit the dungeon after noticing we could use clubcard vouchers for free entry. It's a very dark and creepy place - you just know things are going to jump out on you! The actors were very good and were obviously enthusiastic and committed to their job as each performance seemed fresh rather than something they do...

We had a laugh here and it bought a little humour to a wet cold day. The actors were great and if they were bored (i would be!) from doing the same routine all day every day, then they certainly didn't show it. Really funny, great actors and at times scary!
We paid using clubcard vouchers and although we enjoyed...

We had a free ticket but no way would have paid £15 each for what was just an hours tour . We paid £4 each to do a ghost walk in the city which was way more fun and value than this activity. I felt it was quite rushed through and I asked if there were toliets at the start,...

We visited the Dungeons on Sunday 13th, I was in my wheelchair and this was a second visit, first a small ramp, then person moving seats are used to take you up from front door, down after a character venue, the staff were very helpful and made our visit easier, the actors made us laugh so much as they went...

What ever age you are, you will always appreciate a genuine laugh from the team of expert actors that take you through a historic and chilling experience in the semi theatrical York Dungeons. My girlfriend was guilty when in the eccentric judge's dock simply for being from Essex .... hysterical :-)) Then they burnt her at the stake. But she...

During a weeks holiday in York I was persuaded by my husband to visit this attraction based on his memories of it as a child so a party of 4 of us ventured in - including my mother in law.
We had the best time! The actors are brilliant and the interaction with the visitors is excellent and clearly tailored...
