Rather hidden away but worth finding. Tells the story of the Merchants and their Guild from medieval times in York. Wooden beams, great hall, changed over the centuries all add colour to this story of traders, and socialisers. It is tucked away behind more modern buildings (shops mainly) but is well worth seeking out. I have never visited a building like this. There isn't too much to see, but what there is has plenty of history and interest. For the cost (it can be visited as one of a series of musea) it is worth the visit. Check out the chairs and the sloping floors. More
