The house was interesting but the highlight for me was the Lord Lichfield photographic exhibition. More

Smaller property than we expected. Enjoyed a relaxing look around the Hall and gardens. All very well kept. The collection of minature rooms are very interesting. Had a tasty lunch in the tearoom. A place for grown ups, not much to keep children interested. They would enjoy seeing the peacocks roaming about. All the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. More

We have visited Nunnington Hall before and enjoyed the faily atmosphere both times. this was added to this time by a little (maybe too small) dvd running by a famly member showing old film clips of their days there as children and giving some of the history. there was nothing to dislike escept that we were disappointed they don't do... A great example of how different owners have developed a house over centuries of occupation. Credit to the National Trust for leaving it largely as it was donated. The gardens are a real joy, especially in spring. When we visited there was the added bonus of an exhibition of Lord Lichfield's photos. Excellent tea room, even by NT standards. More

Not one of the best NT properties we have visited, house and grounds ok but not that large, found the house decor and furniture confusing!! Peacocks great to see roaming around and coffee shop very good with great out door seating area next to the river. Overall ok but left us wanting more.... More

Lovely location and gardens and good guides - but Nunnington Hall itself has no particular historical or architectural merit. The furnishings are a typical confusing NT mish mash and the last owner's proud collection of stuffed animal heads and skins - including tigers - is an embarrassing throw back to another age. This house stands no comparison to ,say, Ruskins... More

If you like to escape city life for a day, then this is the place. Beautiul building and surroundings. Great tea room. Just the sort of place to lower your blood pressure and relax! More

The hall is not very large but has and interesting history. The National Trust Volunteers brought the place to life and were an amazing source of knowlege. Well worth a visit! More
