I was concerned this would be too much for my arthritic knees, but it is lovely and flat and sheltered. The visitor centre is lovely with a small cafe with gorgeous sandwiches and cakes. Cave tours with knowledgeable staff, great museum. An added bonus is the cafe with balcony where you can sit outside enjoying the peace and quiet. Good gift and book shop. Clean toilets and baby changing room. More

We went on a very cold frosty morning and found it a bit difficult to find the start of the walk - which is just through the visitors centre. The walk around the lake is about a mile and lovely to do. There are a few caves to look in, but we didn't do the full tour. More
