I absolutely love Clumber park. Lovely walks, beautiful views; so peaceful and energising. Especially important to me as this is where I was asked to Marry my partner :) I've been going to Clumber Park for about 10 years now and have no plans of changing this. More

Anyone travelling the A1 from the South to Scotland or vice versa could easily stop here to let dogs or kids or both really run wild. The Park is enormous and it seems that there are lots of places where you could pull off for half an hour long before you reach the pay desk. You pay per car (£5.60... More

I visit Clumber Park regularly to walk my dog. It is so large that you can take many different routes and not get bored. It is dog friendly, with poo bins in useful places. There are a lot of cycle routes, which are suitable for pushchairs. The only downside is the parking fee, which I think is too high (unless... More

This is a regular venue for us. It's a fantastic place to hold family gatherings to picnic, play games, fly kites, go for walks or bike rides with routes through woodland (it's part of Sherwood Forest), open areas and around the lake. Of great interest to children of all ages (and adults) is the "Discovery Centre" which looks at the... More

My husband and I have visited Clumber Park on a couple of occasions - one time we spent an enjoyable morning at a Christmas food market being held there and the other was cycling the 7 mile route which, to my amazement I found to be a positive experience. I'm not a fitness fanatic and haven't cycled for many years,... More

Short or long walks your choice. Great for all family ages stay near the water and let children play, walking, biking, bird watching or just park and watch the world go past. Easy parking near facilities or if you prefer to be away from the crowds find a more remote spot. Really lovely surrounding. The quality of the food in... More
