Lovely church, amazing inside with its new renovations. The lady there took us round and gave us our own guided tour. I'm not religious but found it really interesting. More

At the heart of historic Lacemarket, an area that is being rapidly restored, this woderful church is a joy to visit. They have classical music concerts occasionally, too - which are generally great. More

I was a choir boy at the church in 1954.The church has not changed since and is still full of history worth investigating.Take a tour of the church and ask questions, the history is mind blowing. The church I understand took over 100 years to build. More

Aside from most churches in the city, this is truly very old, living in the lace market area. Do go when they have events on, i personally adore the christmas service, with the free mince pies and sherry...sing your head off and then munch :D More

This is one of my favourite places to visit for I live in Nottingham. The stained glass windows are beautiful. If you get the chance to sit and listen to the choir rehearsing it is worth it! More

Church is in a pretty square in the old lacemarket. There are some nice old pubs around the church. The church is friendly and does nice services. More

on High Pavement stands the Gothic spired St Mary’s Church. The building was competed in 1475 as has not changed in more than 500 years. But there were at least three buildings before that. The church is mentioned in the Domesday Book and goes back deep into the times of Robin Hood when Sherwood Forest edged the city outskirts. Legend... More

According to the tourist information in the church, this is the largest medieval building in Nottingham. It certainly is large and impressive with enormous windows, many filled with stained glass. The verger was very helpful pointing out some features of the church for us to look at. I was lucky enough to be there just as the choir arrived and... More
