This is a great little museum with hands-on science activities and a working mill to climb and explore. Friendly staff, nice setting within a park with a themed play area, and with free admission. We bought some flour that had been ground earlier the same day! More

Found this city centre mill when my son was a small child and I still take visitors to see Green's mill 20 years later. It combines the working mill with great views, some hands-on science exhibits and for serious mathematicians an exhibition about Green. In the summer it's a pleasant place for a picnoc and there's a children's play area... More

I love the windmill. It's fantastic for families with young children with an interactive science museum and a playground close by. Lots of picnic space and all in the heart of the city. The staff are fantastic and its all free!! There is often extra activities on during school holidays and the staff work really hard to keep it going.... More

It does feel like you are in the centre of nottingham as it is so peaceful, my daughters enjoy it so much that one of them had their birthday party there. There is a great park too! More

This is a fully working windmill and you can even buy the flour in the little shop. You are allowed complete access to the mill and it is all FREE but we did leave a donation. There is a lovely little activity centre for children. This was my favourite place of all the attractions I visited whilst staying in Nottingham... More
