We went there yesterday after a visit to the new Contemporary museum in Nottingham, what a mistake!!! My husband dish was repulsive! He choose the welsh rarebit with a promising ' dry cured bacon '...well the bacon was just pure fat...and hardly cooked! We are sure the chef himself wouldn't eat that! His chips and our kids chips were not... more

P&P is ok but on a saturday night the que to the bar is usually 10 people deep and if you are a group of lads i.e. more than two they don't let you in which sucks. But other than that its a pretty cool place for a beer! more

Do not be fooled by the appearance of this bar/restaurant housed in a beautiful old church. My girlfriend and I decide to have lunch here on recent visit to Nottingham and I wish we hadn't bothered! The Pitcher and Piano is located in a converted Church in the centre of Nottingham. Hats off, it is a fantastic conversion on two floors, with the upper overlooking the lower. I was in here however on a Friday night and the music was deafening. Maybe it is a sign that I am getting old but you simply coludn't speak... more
