Free entry, although you'll need to take a car really and pay for the car park. The house is tremendous and although killing magnificant animals for sport and stuffing them is clearly wrong, the displays are from a different time and provide both aesthetically interesting items as well as an insight into a bygone era. You are able to get... More

Liked the grounds, lake and deer. Disliked the stuffed animals on display in the house. Refreshments are pretty good but way overpriced. Go when the weather is good and stay outside. More

Wollaton Park and Hall is a lovely location a short drive out of the Nottingham city centre. Lovely green grounds with a lake, and lots of deer roaming the grounds. The Hall is well renowned for its historic collection of taxidermy animals. It's well worth a visit (currently under going renovation so call before visiting to ensure you can see... More

This park has no play area to speak of for children, which is a real pity when you concider the size of the park. The ground round the lake can be a slippy bog in winter so make sure you take your walking boots . The car parking isn't free and you have to 'pay & display' which is so... More

this place is so beautiful and fantastic for all ages. the whole grounds and lake is free for you to wander round and is truly breathtaking, always spootlessly clean. there is a charge for the hall but this is minimal hall and worth every penny. loads of wildlife too see plus a lace museum and a huge engine vintage coaches... What a wonderful gift to the people of Nottingham. The grounds were pleasant for walking. Saw many people letting their dogs run and getting exercise. The nature exhibits inside the house were phenomenal! Helps to remember how we saw the birds and animals of the world before building expensive enclosures in the zoos. Wished more of the house could have... More

I love Wollaton Park. Due to the fact that I live only 10 minutes away from this beautiful park makes it an easy place to visit in Summer. I love nothing more than to walk around the grounds in the Summer. In recent years, it has also begun to hold open-air concerts which take place at the hight of the... More
