The view from the top wasn't hugely spectacular for the price. This is one attraction that could easily be free or just a few pence. I've posted a pic of the view. You decide whether it's worth £2.30.

Right in the heart of the city. A good landmark for meeting friends and you can also climb the tower for a view.

At only £2.30, we felt that it was a bit of a bargain to go up Carfax Tower, but we were a little disappointed. The views weren't anywhere near nice as we'd imagined, as you're not as high up as you might think, and only two sides of the tower overlook the old parts of Oxford.

A good opportunity to get a good view of the vicinity, but nothing special. More memorable was watching a work colleague of mine abseiling down the tower in a bikini for charity some years ago.

I went to Carfax Tower about 30 minutes before closing time. The man who worked there that day did mention it.
