This theatre is not too big as some of the new ones are and you can really get involved with what is going on. Excellent position in Oxford to get a meal before you go in. Very good list of future events at all times. A bit like London only local

I've been coming here for nearly 40 years! I've seen great bands, musicals, comedians. Great variety. Parking not on doorstep though.

Gosh, the seats are small. If you are above 6ft then don't go, you'll be uncomfortable the entire performance,

Just a really good Theatre, central location and easy walk from railway station.

Good for variety.....plays, bands, burlesque, opera. Something for everyone. Just the right sized venue - not too big or too small.

This theatre was rebuilt in the 1920's I beleive, but I always wondered why the foyer was so small until I went on a tour of the theatre. It was built back to front and the Grand (marble) Foyer is now a Tradesman Entrance! I enjoyed the tour - it is interesting backstage.

Excellent theatre, showing a wide variety of entertainment.
Very expensive food / drinks as always... so take a large bag and buy before you go!

do not book a cheap seat if you suffer from vertigo! top seats near the roof are feet at had level for the row below and stage is tiny. Otherwise, OK.
