They had placed a row of Christmas trees among the columns on either side of the plaza at the main entrance to the palace. On a glorious late September afternoon this was a perfect place to visit. Very few tourist, lots to see and do and very helpful and well informed staff. Within the palace there is a complementary guided tour, and this is well worth doing as the guides are excellent. more

If you can find a way to get to Bleinham Palace you will be amazed. It's simply beautiful and breath-taking. My experience is that it was far less crowded and touristy than Hampton Court or Warwick Castle. The view of the Avon is gorgeous. Kenneth Branaugh's Hamlet was partially filmed here.
