This was a second visit to the Fashion Museum but as the exhibitions change worth the visit. In line with the olympic theme there was a display of sports wear which did seem th overwhelm the rest of the collection. Maybe this was why some of the more contemporary clothesa did not seem to fit the models to the best... More

If you love to look at the history of clothes this place is for you. Even if you just like history this is interesting. Good audio commentary. Fascinating place and well exhibited. The assembly rooms are also beautiful. More

This is my second visit to the Museum and, again, I found it very interesting. Some excellent pieces but make sure you definitely make use of the audio guides. Thought the idea of the dressing up area was a good one. The downside was we were visiting as part of a shopping day out and this caused problems juggling handbag,... More

This Museum offers an interesting display of fashions from the 17th century onwards and is a pleasant way to spend an hour or so. Entry is free to National Trust members but make sure you use the available audio guides for full commentary on the displays. More

As a father of three trips out are often expensive and a familyy ticket usually consists of 2+2... but happy to say the museum was generous on it's pricing and offered 2+4....... The museum itself had some fantastic pieces. Everything was labelled well and the audio tour was brilliant. The kids loved the dressing up area !!! Spent a wonderful... More

I used to go here a lot in the early 90s when I was studying fashion. It is a great place for a student, school etc as you can ring them and arrange to go behind the scenes and see more things which are not on display. As a member of the public - the building is beautiful and exhibits... More

This was very interesting and worth an hour of my time. They have some extraordinary and gorgeous displays of 17th century dresses, and I enjoyed seeing and learning about the changes across the decades. More

Brilliant this must be my 7th or 8th trip and it is still great, small enough to let you go and shop but really thought provoking and is made real through the curation and set up. Great crinolines and bonnets to try. More

Worth the visit and more! A miniature Victoria and Albert Museum - very insightful and informative. A real snapshot of fashion across the last 3 centuries. Who on earth would have thought we would be wearing that! More
