On a wet and windy day in Bath, we were looking for something warm and indoors. The Bath Aqua Glassblowing demonstration was a welcome change. Something rather different. There was a full house of about 30 people for the demo, and some excellent glass blowing. Well explained and narrated, very close to the action and some lovely work was produced.... More

Brilliant hands-on fun experience! Got to blow my own piece of glass and got a souvenir to take home. Some stunning pieces of work to look at and plenty of beautiful things to buy in their shop. More

Visited these premises as part of a 'hen' do. There were 8 of us in our party, but had originally booked for 10 (2 people dropped out). Price per head was £18.75 each, as we still had to pay for the 2 that had dropped out. Our hen had to dress up (costume supplied) to visit Mr Darcy, (which she... More

I managed to get a groupon for my friend and I to 'do' the glassblowing exhibition. This meant it cost us £14 each to view the exhibition, watch the glassblower do some glassblowing, have a go at blowing some glass, and we also came away with a little handblown glass King Bladuds Pig as part of the deal. Excellent value... More

Thankyou for your review we are so glad you enjoyed your visit. Just in response to the comment about the price of the glass in the shop, our prices reflect the fact that all our glass is individually handmade in the studio by our small team of makers and we believe is good value for such unique pieces of craftsmanship.... I saw this advertised on GROUPON and bought the experience for my husband and myself. It wasnt like anything we had ever done before and we really enjoyed ourselves. The expalnations were amusing and watching the craftsman make several examples was very interesting. Our Groupon allowed us to have a go at making a bubble for ourselves, not as easy... More

Given as a Christmas present, I spent a fantastic morning with a very patient tutor learning to handle molten glass and making a great souvenir. Choose your colours and design, and work in a team to transform your "hot misshapen blob" into some thing more akin to a paperweight. If it doesn't turn out as planned there is always a... More

We were directed to the glass workshop by the owners of the B&B we were stopping at, one of whom works there. It was fascinating to see the process before our eyes as the craftsman turned the glowing glass into a vase and then created a little pig. Watching the man work with the glass while a tape played over... More

My husband bought me a glass paperweight making course for my birthday, and so I found myself on one of the hottest days of the year standing in front of a furnace nervously wielding an iron and trying to keep the molten blob on the other end constantly rolling and not drooping. It was immense fun, I learned a lot... More
