We live only 10 minutes from Birches Valley so we often go for a walk on Cannock Chase. There are so many paths to choose from. There are also two visitor centres that have a cafe and toilet facilities. However you do have to keep your eye's open for bikes crossing pathways. More

Did a fantastic walk of 8 miles. Only problem is that paths are not all that clear so did get lost a couple of times. More

Definitely recommend heading to Go Ape. the course is done at your own pace. The obstacles and activities are varied from easy to difficult; although with the increase in difficulty comes an increase in fun. and you are always attached to a wire so fear not. We oftern have spent many days at Cannock chase. We tend to stay in one of the camp sitea available and get back in touch with nature. The children absolutely love exploring and riding their bikes. It is great for walking and cycling. Nothing beats being out in the freah air. There are certain designated points forrefreshment available. More
