I have been visiting since I was a child, and then took my own kids. If you are really lucky you might see the deer, as we have lots of times, once a whole herd crossing in front of us. More

We go weekly as its on our doorstep. Lots of lovely walks, childrens playgrounds, mountain bike trails and Go Ape for the more energetic amongst us. They have brick built barbques for anyone to use but you need to get there early on a sunny day as they are really popular More

cannock chase has something for everybody. its easy to get to,even from the M6. There is also a very interesting historic angle to the area. There are clear directions ans all paths are clearly marked. The views of the area are quite stunning and the air is always good More

We live only 10 minutes from Birches Valley so we often go for a walk on Cannock Chase. There are so many paths to choose from. There are also two visitor centres that have a cafe and toilet facilities. However you do have to keep your eye's open for bikes crossing pathways. More

Did a fantastic walk of 8 miles. Only problem is that paths are not all that clear so did get lost a couple of times. More

Definitely recommend heading to Go Ape. the course is done at your own pace. The obstacles and activities are varied from easy to difficult; although with the increase in difficulty comes an increase in fun. and you are always attached to a wire so fear not. I actually think Go Ape helped cure me of my fear of heights. Ziplines... More

We oftern have spent many days at Cannock chase. We tend to stay in one of the camp sitea available and get back in touch with nature. The children absolutely love exploring and riding their bikes. It is great for walking and cycling. Nothing beats being out in the freah air. There are certain designated points forrefreshment available. More

I visit Cannock Chase regularly. It's a great place to have a stroll, run, cycle or even a romantic walk and picnic (weather depending!) More
